Does peer-to-peer messaging work? IOM presents Migrants as Messengers, a peer-to-peer awareness raising initiative across seven West African countries. Since 2017, over 400 returnee migrants have been trained as 'messengers', helping their communities to make informed decisions about migration. Findings from five large-scale randomised control trials on Migrants as Messengers will guide the discussion. Join IOM at this event to learn about the peer-to-peer approach and what research tells us about its effectiveness.
