This highly interactive workshop explores how the choice of messenger fundamentally shapes how messages are received and how they translate into meaningful behavior change and improved health outcomes.
Drawing on behavioral science and real-world implementation evidence, SCIDaR will introduce the Messenger Compass - a practical decision-making tool designed to help SBC practitioners select messengers more intentionally and effectively across program design and delivery.
Through live scenarios, audience participation, and discussions participants will engage directly with the tool, stress-testing and refining it for real-world application at scale.
What participants will gain:
1. A clearer understanding of why messenger choice matters in SBC
2. A practical, evidence-based tool for improving program effectiveness
3. Hands-on experience applying and adapting the tool in diverse contexts
