This session explores the opportunities and risks that artificial intelligence presents for social and behavior change communication. Participants will examine how AI can enhance program design, implementation, audience engagement, and learning, while also considering important questions related to bias, equity, cultural relevance, data sovereignty, and accountability. The discussion will consider how SBCC practitioners can leverage innovation while building trust, amplifying local voices, and promoting more equitable social change.
